SYNOD BISHOP VISITS UCZ RETIRED MINISTERS AT KASAKA

KAFUE – 17.01.2020: The United Church of Zambia Synod Bishop His Grace the Rev Sydney Sichilima paid a pastoral visit to retired Ministers at Kasaka settlement. The Synod Bishop’s visitation was necessitated by the current rising costs of electricity tariffs, fuel, mealie meal, and the unfriendly economic conditions being experienced throughout the country partly due to the effects of climate change. His Grace the Synod Bishop in the company of the Synod Projects Secretary Mr. Bornface Mafwela and the Communications Secretary Rev Dennis Sikazwe donated 40kgs of mealie meal and 2litres of vegetable oil to each of the five retired ministers.

On the same day, the Health Secretary, Mrs.  Ida Waddel donated boxes of baby/infant formula and packs of face masks and gauze to UCZ Kafue Health centre for a mal-nourished baby. The consignment was received by the Health Centre Officer-in-charge, Mr Grader Sialwindi.
