BISHOP CHULU ELECTED TO CCZ BOARD

LUSAKA – ANDREW’S MOTEL: 27/09/2024- The United Church of Zambia (UCZ) Synod Bishop Rev.Festus Chulu has been elected to serve as a member on the Council of Churches (CCZ) board.
Rev.Chulu who will be representing the heads of member Churches was elected yesterday during the 33rd CCZ General Conference held at Andrew’s Motel in Lusaka.
And UCZ Busokololo Congregation Minister in Charge, Rev.Chipulu Ndalama has retained her position as a women’s representative on the same board.
Meanwhile, Rev.Ackson Banda of the Reformed Church in Zambia has been elected as CCZ Board President while Bishop Juden Siachitema retained his seat as Vice President. Also elected include Lt.Col Alfred Banda,Rev.Friday Grem kapakasa,Mr Herbert Nkaso Mwaanga,Phoebe Mkandawire among others.
The General Conference of the Council of Churches in Zambia is held every 3 years and this year’s conference was between 25 to 27th September,2024.
