EXTENTION OF CLOSING DATE FOR RECEIVING EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR DEVELOPMENT OF A FUEL SERVICE STATION IN KAFUE.

The United Church of Zambia Synod headquarters has extended the deadline for receiving applications of expression of interests from property developers to develop a fuel service station within the UCZ Mission land in Kafue. The piece of land measuring 5 Acres is situated within farm number 86a along Kafue Road near Kafue Bridge.
The model envisaged is that the property developer should design, finance, construct and operate project as a Joint Venture with the United Church of Zambia on a fixed tenure after which ownership is transferred 100 percent to the UCZ.
The proposed complex will include among other facilities:
1. Fuel service station,
2. Motor vehicle fitment Centre,
3. Mini Mart,
4. Auto spares shop,
5. Facility for banking services.
6. Other facilities to be agreed upon.
The bidders will be required to satisfy the following conditions:
(i) Proof of company’s incorporation/ registration,
(ii) List of Directors and their qualifications,
(iii) Proof of experience in similar undertakings,
(iv) Membership to National Council for Construction,
(v) Reference from bankers,
(vi) Certification of clearance from Credit Reference Bureau,
(vii) Proof of capacity to undertake the project.
Interested Property developers who meet the above criteria should submit sealed proposals marked; TENDER FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR DEVELOPING A FUEL SERVICE STATION to be deposited in the tender box which will be placed on the Ground Floor, Western Wing of The United Church House and addressed to:

The closing date for receiving bids is Friday, 2nd December, 2022 the date when the tenders will be opened in the board room at 14:00 hours.
NOTE: A none refundable application fee of K1, 000.00 should be paid to the Cashier upon delivery of the bid.
