UCZ Synod United Church of Zambia
The United Church of Zambia celebrated 50 years of existence with a series of events that involved an exhibition at the Arcades Shopping Mall, a Symposium at the Government Complex, a Convocation Service at Mindolo in Kitwe, a Choral Competition at the Government Complex and finally wrapped it up with a service at the Heroes Stadium on 18th January 2015.
The celebrations were graced by the First Republican president, Dr. Kenneth Kaunda, the Acting President of Zambia, Dr. Guy Scott and his wife Dr. Charlotte Scott, the Synod Bishop, the Synod General Secretary and the clergy and church members from the various presbyteries, consistories and congregations.
