REV JONES MUTEMBO IS NEW EASTERN PRESBYTERY BISHOP

The Minister – In-Charge of Kabundi Congregation in Chingola , Reverend Jones Mwimba Mutembo, has been elected as Eastern Presbytery Bishop for the period of four years , effective January, 2023.

The Rev. Mutembo served in Eastern Presbyery for close to a decade on his first appointment and was moved to the Copperbelt Presbytery on Synod transfer in 2017.

He takes over from the Rev.Bishop Martha Kapambwe Siame whose second term of office as Presbytery Bishop comes to an end in December , 2022.
