MED GEARED FOR THE WCF NATIONAL CONFERENCE

The United Church of Zambia Mission and Evangelism Mission Department (MED) has said it is ready for its forth coming Women’s Christian Fellowship (WCF) which will take place at Solwezi technical School in North Western Province.

Mission and Evangelism Secretary, Rev Andrew Chulu said the conference which will take place from 11th to 14th July, 2022 is expected to attract 5,000 WCF participants from across the country.

“The aim of the conference is to afford women an opportunity to learn from each other and share experiences as they participate in God’s mission, and each Presbytery was given a specific number of participants,’ he said

Rev.Chulu said the department will conduct a final meeting with Presbytery WCF leaders and inspect the venue on 8th August, 2022.

The Mission and Evangelism Secretary said the department has lined up dynamic preachers for the conference including the General secretary, Rev. Chipasha Musaba and Synod Bishop, Rev Sydney Sichilima

“Apart from the GS, other speakers include Rev.Joseph Nkonde from Northern Presbytery, Rev.Aaron Simukonda from Lusaka Presbytery, Rev Florence from Copper belt Presbytery, Rev.Dr. Jane Kaluba from Jamaica, Rev.Moses Chitundu from North western Presbytery, Rev. Bishop Moses Gondwe of North Western Presbytery, “Rev.Chulu said

Rev.Chulu also disclosed that the gathering will be used as an opportunity to mobilize mission contributions to be channeled towards facelifting of Solwezi technical Secondary School and UCZ Jakaimbo clinic in Maheba.

The WCF conference comes every after two years and the 2022 conference will be held under the theme of the united church of Zambia ‘All one in Christ and the Sub theme ‘Called for a time such as this drawn from Esther 4:14). The conference will be officially opened by the North- Western Provincial Minister, Honourble Robert Lihefu
