UCZ NORTH WESTERN PRESBYTERY– The United Church of Zambia (UCZ) North Western Presbytery has started inducting newly stationed Church Workers in the Presbytery, with the first induction being that of Reverend Titus Niza Chele as Minister in Charge for Mushitala Congregation in Solwezi.
Rev. Chele who was Minister in Charge at Mufumbwe Congregation has taken over from Rev.Nebby Chanda who has been transferred to Kalumbila Congregation of Kalumbila Consistory.
The induction service took place on Sunday 29 th January,2023 at Mushitala Congregation.
And North Western Presbytery Bishop Rev Moses Gondwe was at hand to constitute the assembly for the induction.
The North Western Presbytery has 21 ministers and 1 diaconal worker and is scheduled to have eight induction services for the year 2023.
Among those to be inducted include, Rev Nebby Chanda of Kalumbila Congregation, Rev. Alinani Chitalu of Mufumbwe Congregation and Rev. Exildah Bwalya Kasonde of St Dorothy Congregation of Solwezi East Consistory.
Meanwhile, Solwezi East Consistory held a rededication for singing groups and Sunday school teachers on Saturday 28th January,2023.
And Lusaka Presbytery is scheduled to induct 23 Church Workers to their various stations in 2023, comprising 14 who came on Synod transfer from other Presbyteries and from the United Church of Zambia University and nine who were on Presbytery transfers within Lusaka.
To kick start the schedule,last Sunday Deaconesses Gillian Musenge and Elizabeth Kaleo were inducted in Chilenje and Lusaka South Consistories , respectively.
