UCZ MUCHINGA PRESBYTERY – MPIKA: 30/04/2023– The United Church of Zambia ( UCZ) Sunday School Teacher’s National Conference which was held at Mpika Boy’s Secondary School in Muchinga Presbytery came to an end on 30th April 2023 Sunday night.
Acting Synod Bishop, Rev. Bishop Festus Chulu, officially closed the gathering around 23:00hrs, immediately after the Holy Communion Service.
Bishop Chulu described the conference as a success and thanked the Synod Mission and Evengelism Department for organizing the event.
Bishop Chulu said the conference fulfilled the purpose in that the participants had the opportunity to have a revival fellowship and sharpen each other.
And Mission and Evengelism Secretary,Rev. Andrew Chulu has paid tribute to the Church in Muchinga for hosting the event.
Rev. Chulu said the Church in Muchinga contributed a sum of twenty-eight thousand kwacha towards repairs at Mpika Boy’s Secondary School ahead of the event.
He said the Church also made a separate mission contribution of seven thousand five hundred kwacha to School Managment.
The Mission and Evangelism Secretary thanked the participants in the conference for coming in their numbers.
The two- day conference which started on Saturday attracted over 1000 participants from across the country and one hundred and twenty-seven new teachers were badged.
The last Sunday School Teachers Conference was last held in Mkushi in 2013.
