UNITED CHURCH HOUSE – LUSAKA: 29/03/2022 –The United Church of Zambia General Secretary has revealed that the Church is in the process of rolling out an Investment Policy .
In 2021, the United Church of Zambia Synod Executive adopted an investment policy to guide the Church on all it’s investment undertakings.
Rev. Musaba said the policy will be rolled out to all Presbyteries in 2022 to help the Church expand its economic base and create capacity for self sustainability of the Church mission .
He said the Church was working on robust measures to ensure that all Church policies are implemented in an efficient and coordinated manner.
Rev. Musaba also implored the Heads of Departments for the UCZ institutions to create forums where members and leaders of the institutions can interact and share experiences.
Rev. Musaba thanked the Church leaders for exhibiting a sense of unity in their quest to steer the Church to greater heights.
And Luapula Presbytery Bishop , Rev. Darius Chitalu has encouraged the Church leaders to be United and take concern for each other.
Speaking  during the devotion titled ‘ Living for each other ‘drawn form Luke 10:25-37, Bishop Chitalu said the Church needs to be happy with the success of others and guard against the spirit of greed from creeping into the the life of the Church.
The United Church of Zambia leaders met on Tuesday 29th March 2022 in Lusaka for a one day senior Management Meeting under the 2022 theme ‘ All One in Christ ‘ (John 17:21) to review the performance of the Church.
In attendance were the Principal Officers of the Church, among them, the Presbytery Bishops ,UCZ Synod Heads of Departments and the heads of UCZ institutions.
