The United Church of Zambia General Secretary Rev Chipasha Musaba during a ZNBC program dubbed “KK legacy”, described the late Dr. Kenneth David Buchizya Kaunda as a man who was firm and very understanding, he further alluded to the fact that Zambia’s founding father had an extraordinary life which impacted so many lives both in Zambia and across the globe.

Rev Musaba also highlighted on how Dr. Kaunda helped the nation(Zambia) to transition from a one party to a multi-party state by giving up power when he was not elected by the Zambian people.

He also explained how Dr. Kaunda facilitated the advancement of missionary activities in the United Church of Zambia, he gave an example of how Dr. Kaunda introduced Boys Brigade in Zambia in the year 1964 by negotiating with the Boys brigade in London who agreed to come and introduce Boys Brigade in Zambia, and in 1965 the first Boys brigade company was introduced at Kabushi congregation in Ndola.
