UCZ LUSAKA PRESBYTERY – LUSAKA:–The United Church of Zambia( UCZ ) Women’s Christian Fellowship ( WCF) donated assorted items comprising toiletries , cleaning and sanitary materials,among others to UCZ Mbereshi Mission Hospital.
Lusaka WCF Convener Elizabeth Mkumano said the donated items were contributions from different congregations as part of the WCF mission towards the needy .
” We thank our mothers who made the donations and we would like to appeal to Christians across the country to be responsive to the plight of the needy in the community,” Said Mrs.Mkumano.
And Lusaka Presbytery Bishop Rev.Dr.Siame said the contribution is part of the broader Church’s mandate to promote the healing Ministry of Jesus .
Bishop Siame explained that Lusaka Presbytery has been actively involved in supporting Mbereshi Mission Hospital in order to help alleviate the needs being faced by the health facility.
” The other year , the members of the Men’s Christian Fellowship ( MCF) from Lusaka Presbytery travelled to Mbereshi to render support in the areas of infrastructure renovation, repair of equipment and charity to the patients, “Said Bishop Siame
And Mbereshi Mission Hospital Administrator Rev Webster Milanzi thanked the women for the gesture ,adding that the support will go a long way in mitigating the challenges at the health facility.
