LUSAKA ,–UCZ SYNOD HEAD QUARTERS: 24/08/2023–A group of staff from Africa Healthcare Network have today visited the United Church of Zambia (UCZ) to discuss ways of possible partnership in the provision of health care services to marginalized societies in Zambia.
Africa Healthcare Network Chief Executive Officer and Director, Matt Williams says the team is in the country to meet the Ministry of Health and faith-based health institutions to discuss ways in which they can work together in the provision of renal and dialysis care.
Mr. Williams said his organization which was founded in 2015 is working in four countries of Sub-Saharan Africa namely Kenya, Tanzania, Mauritius and Rwanda where it is providing high-quality, life-saving dialysis at an affordable cost.
He said his organization is excited to bring world class technical expertise to Zambians who are in need of quality dialysis treatment.
Meanwhile, United Church of Zambia (UCZ) General Secretary Reverend Chipasha Musaba said the Church is looking forward to the actualization of this vision of working together with Africa Healthcare Network in enhancing health care deliveries in the Church’s health institutions.
Rev. Musaba explained that UCZ is committed to the delivery of health care services to Zambian communities and is happy to work with stakeholders such as Africa Healthcare Network in reaching out to people who have been having challenges in receiving health care services.
