UCZ MISSION PARTNERSHIP CHEERS CWM

LUSAKA ,–UCZ SYNOD HEAD QUARTERS: 24/06/2023– General Secretary of the Council for World Mission (CWM), Rev.Dr. Jooseop Keum has appluaded the United Church of Zambia (UCZ) for it’s contributions to global mission.
Rev.Dr. Keum has highlighted three key areas of UCZ’s contribution as unity, critical thinking and service. Rev, Dr.Keum said the UCZ has been an inspiration in the promotion of oneness among Christians and societies.
“The United Church of Zambia has played a significant theological role in the mission of Christ by propagating peace and unity,” he said.
He has also noted that the UCZ has enormously contributed to the life and work of CWM by bringing in new ways of doing mission.
And Rev,Dr. Keum has thanked the Church for it’s service for the larger community through the provision of health care and education services.
“We would like to also commend them for their role in looking out for the marginalized in society through the provision of humanitarian programs,” he said.
Meanwhile,the United Church of Zambia (UCZ) General Secretary Rev.Chipasha Musaba expressed delight at the visit of CWM General Secretary.
Rev.Musaba said the visit by Rev,Dr.Keum is an opportunity to heighten the partnership with CWM which will create flourishing communities.
Rev. Musaba said the UCZ Church looks forward to creating sustainable networks with the CWM by bringing the word of God to the people.
The Council for World Mission (CWM) has thirty two member Churches in 40 countries with UCZ being one of the founder members.
The UCZ has so contributed the biggest number of Missionaries currently serving with Mission Partners in different placements under the auspices of Council for World Mission.
